DEFRA is a government body in the UK that is responsible for making policies and legislation. By working with others to ensure those policies are in place to help protect the environment, animal health and welfare among others areas of interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\nAlthough DEFRA only work directly in England, they also work closely with the devolved administrations in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, and generally lead on negotiations in the EU and internationally.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
The Government believes that it needs to protect the environment for future generations, make our economy more environmentally sustainable, and improve our quality of life and well-being. DEFRA is a government body that is continuously working towards these objectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\nAll of our birds are transported across Europe and within the UK according to the transportation regulations as set out by DEFRA. We are registered members of DEFRA.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
